Arrival at the airport in Tirana and welcome meeting with the Tour Leader who will accompany the group throughout the duration of the tour. The second day in Albania will begin with breakfast which will be followed by a meeting with the rest of the group within the time agreed with the Tour Leader.
The morning will be dedicated to a guided tour of the city of Shkodra, one of the oldest cities in Europe and considered the cultural center of Albania.
Its great charm, as well as from the cultural and architectural heritage, comes from the natural setting in which it stands. The city is in fact located near Lake Scutari from which three rivers (Drin, Kir and Buna) come to life, flowing placidly through the ancient town.
The Dinaric Alps, an imposing mountain range that crosses much of southern Europe, serve as a backdrop to this enchanting place in Albania.

The third day in Albania will begin with an American breakfast followed by check-out to be completed by the time agreed with the Tour Leader. This will be followed by a private transfer to the central area of Albania.
The destination to reach will be the city of Durres, formerly known as Epidamnos, whose origins date back to the 7th century BC. It was a Roman settlement of great importance, so much so that a conjunction with the Via Egnatia started from here. The heart of the Roman Empire was thus connected with its more peripheral areas.
Today Durres is one of the main tourist centers of Albania, with a pulsating life especially during the summer season.

In the late afternoon the Tour Leader will accompany the group on a relaxing walk along the pedestrian street of Durres. It will be possible to visit the Archaeological Museum and the Amphitheater (one of the largest in the Balkan region).
The colors of the sunset will be the ideal background for this guided tour of Durres between ancient history and modernity.

The fifth day in Albania will begin with breakfast followed by check-out to be completed by the time agreed with the Tour Leader. This will be followed by a private transfer to Vlora, one of the most popular and popular seaside resorts in Albania.
Vlora is located in the southwestern area of the region, at the point where the two Ionian and Adriatic seas meet.
It is the place where Ismail Qemali (first Albanian Prime Minister) declared the independence of the country on November 28, 1912.
Valona is famous for its 5 km long pedestrian street that runs along the sea, dotted with shops and clubs, ideal for pleasant walks in the sunset and in the moonlight.
During the rest of the morning it will be possible to relax at one of the many beaches that make up the coastal coast of Vlora.

The sixth day in Albania will begin with breakfast, followed by a meeting, within the agreed time, with the Tour Leader.
This will be followed by a boat trip to the wonderful Karaburun Peninsula, a naturalistic pearl of Albania. This locality, thanks to the crystalline colors of its waters, is part of a protected marine park.
What is most appreciated by the tourists who visit Karaburun, is the spectacular contrast of colors of the sea, of the mountain peaks that reach up to 1200 m and of the flourishing vegetation of the cliffs overlooking the sea.
The boat will stop at the most beautiful bays of the peninsula, each characterized by still unspoiled natural landscapes. It will be possible to dive into the placid waters of Karaburun, which was not allowed during the period of communist terror due to a military base in the area.

The landscapes that will be the background along the way are fantastic: in a route of 110 km there are more than 14 small villages and beautiful unspoiled beaches.
The group will stop at the beach of Himara, a spectacular bay where the intense blue color of the water is enhanced by the white color of the sand.
The morning will be spent in total relaxation on the beach.

The eighth day in Albania will begin with breakfast, followed by an appointment within the time agreed with the Tour Leader.
The group will stop at Ksamil beach, a real paradise with tropical connotations located in the southern part of Albania.
Here it will be possible to admire the fascinating islands that are located a short distance from the beach, so close that they can be easily reached by swimming or by boat. These strips of land look like tropical atolls, so lush is the vegetation. The contrast between the earth's green and the turquoise of the water is also a postcard.
The morning will be dedicated to relaxing on the beach.

During the afternoon the group will move to Butrint Archaeological Park, an important UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The city was initially colonized by the Greeks and, centuries later, it became a territory of the Roman Empire. Before being abandoned, it was also a Byzantine settlement. Napoleon Bonaparte came near this site during the end of 18 th century.
Here nature and history come together in a landscape of charm: the ancient ruins are hidden in the shadow of a large forest, surrounded by strips of land that touch the sea.
Over 2000 years of history are mixed together in a unique site of the world.

The ninth day in Albania will begin with breakfast followed by check-out to be completed by the time agreed with the Tour Leader.
During the morning it will still be possible to relax for a few hours on Ksamil beach.
The group will then move to Tirana, the modern metropolitan capital of Albania. It is the political, administrative and cultural heart of the region. The city is rich in cultural, religious and historical sites. Walking through its orderly streets means traveling in time through centuries of foreign domination, ruthless communist dictatorship and recent modern times.
